Youth Programs

Youth Dodgeball

Location: Gymnasium

Duck, dodge, and have a blast with Youth Dodgeball! Our program is a dynamic mix of strategy, agility, and friendly competition. Geared towards young participants, it's a chance to enjoy the thrill of dodging, throwing, and making new friends on the dodgeball court. Join us for active fun and laughter!

The five D’s of Dodgeball!!!

Dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge!!!

Come out to the Crawford County Recreation Center and join the fun!  Foam balls are used for this league.  There will be no practices.  Games will be played on Tuesday nights.  Age divisions will be determined by registration numbers.  A single elimination tournament will begin on July 2nd. Ages 15 and under.

Registration:  April 19 – May 17
Program Dates:  May 28 – June 25

Youth Basketball

Location: Gymansium

Dribble into action with Youth Basketball at our center! Designed for young hoop enthusiasts, our program offers skill development, teamwork, and loads of fun on the court. Join us for a slam dunk of a good time as we nurture a love for the game in a supportive and energetic environment.

Youth grades Kindergarten through 4th grade will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of basketball. The focus of this league is fundamental skill development including ball handling, passing, shooting and being a good teammate. Each team will have the opportunity to practice once a week at the CCRC. Games will be on Saturday mornings. This league is open to both boys and girls. Each participant will receive a t-shirt.

Registration: February 5th - March 1st

Program dates: March 16th - April 27th (There will be no games on Easter weekend, Saturday March 30th)

Child Watch

Available for children aged 6-months to 7-years-old.

• Available to CCRC members only.
• Limit of two hours per visit.
• Parents must be participating in a CCRC activity or program and be in the building while the child is in Child Watch.

Hours:
Monday-Thursday : 8:30–10:30 am & 5:00–7:00 pm
Friday: 8:30–10:30 am

Pricing:
2 Kids for 2 hours is only $5
